  • Welcome, I am so glad that you are here!

Hi! I am Annie. I am a lifestyle and wedding photographer based out of St. Paul, MN. I believe that God created each of us in His own image and I adore seeing His beauty in the people that I photograph. Whether you are newly engaged, expecting, want to document your birth, a birthday, or if you want to spend your evening loving on your family, I want to be there with you! I strongly believe that every photograph should tell a story and I would love nothing more than to tell yours!

    XO, Annie

  • Let’s be friends!

Twin Cities Maternity/Newborn Photographer | Liv

Oh my… this is not okay!  It has been a year since I last posted…  A YEAR!!!!! WHA?!  Not okay!  Holds head in shame (isn’t there an emoji for this?!)

This past year was full of incredibly amazing couples, swoon worthy weddings, lots and lots of adorable kiddos, so many wonderful families and some beautiful, perfect newborns.  2014 was a year that solidified, for me, that photography is exactly what I should be doing in this season of my life.  I took on photography full time in June and honestly have not looked back.  What a gift it is to be able to capture these incredible moments for so many of you.  Thank you.  Seriously.  Thank you so so very much for trusting me to capture these fleeting moments in your lives.

Enough about me!  Let’s get to some images!!!!  I will leave you with two of my dearest friends.  Meet Erin & Matt and their beautiful BEAUTIFUL baby Liv.  She is a dream.  I love this little lady with my whole heart (isn’t it amazing how much you end up loving your friends kids?!)  Enjoy!!!

Minneapolis Children’s Photographer | Lydia

I have to share this adorable session with you!  Meet Lydia.  She may just be the cutest little lady I have ever laid my eyes on… I mean… look at her?!  She is a little beauty!  It has been so much fun watching her mama and dad grow into incredible parents.  I have been blessed to get to know these friends after meeting them for their maternity session (check it out here) and again for Lydia’s newborn shoot.  She has been a sweet and cuddly little gal ever since she was born.  Thank you guys for spending your afternoon with me, for tromping through DEEP snow and braving 0 degree weather to get some outdoor shots, and thank you for allowing me to capture beautiful moments for your family.  You guys inspire me 🙂

St Paul Wedding Photographer | Mike & Laura

Meet Laura & Mike.  Oh these two.  What a BEAUTIFUL and intimate day they shared.  I adored their wedding day, not because there were so many elements that I had wanted for my wedding day… intimate, surrounded by close friends and family, personal vows, delicious… NO, AMAZING food, but because I feel like I was fulfilling a greater purpose on this day.

Let me rewind to the previous evening.

I had to say goodbye to my grandpa the evening before this day.  An unexpected, goodbye.  He was surrounded by his wife, his two remaining siblings, his 3 kids, 8 of his 9 grandkids, and even a few of his great grandkids, and while, this was THE most heart-wrenching goodbye that I have ever had to say, I GOT to say goodbye.  I got to say, I will see you again.  I got to say I love you, I appreciate you and I thank you!  This was an experience that reiterated for me, why I believe what I believe.  I left that Winona hospital assured that my grandpa fell into the arms of Jesus that late afternoon and that our goodbye was only a temporary goodbye.

The next day I had to shoot a wedding.  I had to be on my feet.  Be at my best.  Provide beautiful images.  Laugh.  Have fun!  I had to capture the happiest day of two people’s lives while the day before, I lost on of my happiest places.

Thankfully I pray, I pray before every single shoot that I do.  I pray to capture images that exhibit God’s beauty in the people that I photograph.  I pray to capture love.  I pray that I may be an example of Christ to my clients and on this particular Saturday, December 21st, I prayed that I would be able to capture a love that would exhibit the love that my grandma and grandpa had shared, for 65 years.  This was the most therapeutic shoot that I have ever done.  I was exactly where I needed to be, with exactly who I needed to be with.

Laura and Mike… you two… keep loving each other so sweetly.  Keep laughing when you kiss, and keep loving your family as much as you do!  You two were amazing and I am SO SO grateful, on SO many levels that I got to spend this day with you and your loved ones.  You two helped to heal my heart and helped to remind me why I fall in love with photography every time I pick up my camera.  I adored everything about your day and I just love how your images turned out 🙂

XO, my friends!

Minneapolis Children’s Photographer | Andrew

I was blessed to meet many sweet newborns this past summer and they are well on their way to a year!  I can hardly believe it!  Andrew is one of those littles.  I met him shortly after he was born and I couldn’t have asked for a better baby to photograph!  He was sleepy, sweet and perfectly content cuddling in his mama and daddy’s arms (you can see a quick preview of his newborn session below).  He made my job a breeze!  Oh I just love this little one!

There is not much that fills my heart more than getting to document a babe’s milestones.  It is an absolute gift to be invited back to a family who had put their trust into me to document those precious moments when their babe was just days old!  I am grateful!  Andrew, your mom and your dad adore you and you are as cute as ever.  Thank you for being so sweet and for braving a brief stint in 0 degree weather to show me your sled.  You are amazing and I just think the world of you!  Happy 6 months little man… I have a feeling you will be walking soon   🙂

Fridley Wedding Photographer | Adam & Christine

So, you know when someone falls in love?  Not just any kind of love, I am talking about the head-over-heels, bliss written all over your face, can’t stop smiling, drooling like a puppy dog kind of love…  Yeh, that love.  I stinking love that love!!!

Let me back up a bit… I met Christine a couple of years ago and have always thought the world of this girl.  She has such a joyful and loving heart.  She is the kind of person that when she leaves,  she leaves you happier than before she arrived.  Yup, she’s that girl and she is awesome.  I remember when she first started dating this tall man in uniform.  She was smitten and it was so stinking adorable.   I liked these two together right from the start.  They were it.  They were meant to be!  They have that love and it is beautiful.

Adam and Christine celebrated their wedding at the Riedel Manson in Fridley.  This place was perfect… and gorgeous.  I was in my happy place.  The day was complete with a little rain, stunning fall colors, incredible friends and family, and lots and lots of laughter.  These families.  This couple.  This day filled me up.  Congratulations Christine and Adam… enjoy my friends!!  Lots and lots of love to you two!
